Polling locations, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
East Campus residents: George Watts Elementary School, 700 Watts St.
West and Central Campus residents: W.I. Patterson Recreation Center, 2614 Crest St.
Off campus: Check here to see where your precinct's polling location is.
How to get there:
- Duke Political Union is running walk-overs from East Campus bus stop to George Watts at 9 p.m., 11 p.m., 1 p.m, 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
- DPU is also providing transportation to the W.I. Patterson Recreation Center from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. from the Bryan Center Circle for West and Central Campus residents.
Things to know:
- You must already be registered to vote in Durham county to vote here, as North Carolina no longer partakes in same-day voter registration.
- You do not need to have any identification to vote in this year's elections. The provision of the new voting law in North Carolina requiring government-issued photo identification does not go into effect until 2016.
- If you go to a polling place that is not for your precinct, you will be able to fill out a change of information form and vote a provisional ballot only, which will be examined by the Board of Elections to see if it can be counted.
Event on campus:
- DPU, Duke Political Review and Connect2Politics are hosting an Election Watch Party at the Loop starting at 9 p.m with free food and prizes.
