Seth Curry waived by Golden State Warriors

Former Duke basketball guard Seth Curry has been waived by the Golden State Warriors, the Associated Press reports. Curry's brother, Stephen, stars for the Warriors.

Curry went undrafted and missed the NBA's Summer League with a shin injury that he played throughout his final season at Duke. He opted not to have surgery on the leg during the season, playing through it while missing most of the team's practices. He averaged 17.5 points per game as a senior, making 43.8% of his 3-pointers and 2.7 per game.

Curry was healthy enough to play in six preseason games for the Warriors. In limited action, averaging 7.2 minutes per game, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 2.2 points and 1.0 assist.
