Pathman trains with US U-20 National Team

After a stellar season with  six goals and a conference-high 11 assists, sophomore Mollie Pathman has been rewarded with an invitation to train with the United States Under-20 National Team between January 5-19 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif..

A total of 30 players have been called up and will feature many of the star players from the past season. The team will play two hour-long scrimmages against the Shanghai Women's Football Club on Jan. 12 and Jan. 18 as the squad prepares for qualification to the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which will be hosted by Japan.

Pathman's performance on the left wing in Duke's run to the College Cup final earned her a spot on the NCAA College Cup All-Tournament team, most notably she put two in the back of the net against Wake Forest in the national semifinal.
