I am a proud Duke alum. I just heard the news today, from a Maryland alum no less, that we are selling tickets to fill up the student section. I was ashamed. Duke student body: You should be ashamed. We have THE BEST venue in college athletics (not just basketball). Many of the best memories from my undergrad days involve games, camping out and waiting in line at 2 a.m. the night before a mid-afternoon tip-off. If you aren’t taking advantage of this opportunity, you are missing out. You are letting down your team, your school and yourself. Maybe other fan bases actually have it right about us; maybe we got lazy and spoiled. And I thought Carolina was just wine and cheese?
