Irving's Status Still Unclear

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A day after taking part in warmups for the first time since injuring his right big toe, Kyrie Irving was back in a familiar place--the bench.

The freshman point guard didn't take part in any drills with the team today, instead coming out in street clothes after the first semifinal between North Carolina and Clemson was finished. Duke only ran a limited number of drills given the short turnaround between the two games, which may have been a contributing factor to Irving's absence. Friday, the Blue Devils had a shootaround more than an hour before the quarterfinal contest.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski didn't address Irving's progress in his postgame press conference, and the players in the locker room also had no answers for when the freshman might return to game action.
