INDIANAPOLIS — There will be tens of thousands of fans in Lucas Oil Stadium tonight—trust me, I just walked into the stadium and its size is beyond understanding.

One fan, though, stands out above the rest: George H.W. Bush. Duke fans should hope he's made the trek to Indianapolis this weekend.

Consider this: During Bush's presidency, the Blue Devils made four Final Fours and won two national championships.

But, more recently, he showed up to Duke's game against Baylor, a game, which Duke of course won. He even gave head coach Mike Krzyzewski a handshake and hug before the game, perhaps passing off his good luck vibes onto K.

Politics aside, the evidence is striking. Bush seems to bring out the best in the Blue Devils. That's something elephants and donkeys can agree on.
