House of Representatives Includes a Few Duke Fans

A couple of weeks ago, we wrote about a Congressional candidate in Kentucky who cited his opponent's Duke background as a reason to vote against the man.

This week, royal blue seems to be in favor in Washington, D.C.

The House of Representatives' David Price (D-N.C.), who represents the Durham area, submitted a resolution in the House a couple of days ago congratulating the Duke basketball team on its recent run to the national title in Indianapolis. And get this—the resolution got quite a few additional signatures. Apparently Price—officially a member of the Duke political science department, though he spends his time in D.C., not on campus—isn't the only Duke fan in Congress.
