Eleven Blue Devils Earn ACC All-Academic Honors

It looks like a bunch of Duke Football players have something to write home about today.

Eleven Duke Football players were awarded spots on theĀ 42-member 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic, Commissioner John Swofford announced Wednesday. Duke led the ACC with the most selections of any program.

To be eligible for the team, a player must have a 3.00 grade point average during the last semester as well as a 3.00 cumulative average during his college academic career.

Sophomore punter Kevin Jones is one of ten repeat selections.
