No. 15 Gonzaga is expected to return senior guard Matt Bouldin as it travels to Madison Square Garden to play the Blue Devils Saturday at 4 p.m.in the Bulldogs' biggest non-conference game of the season. Bouldin was expected to play last Saturday against Davidson, but ended up spending the entire game on the bench instead.
The senior claims to feel much better since injuring himself in a Dec. 9 game against Augustana College, in which he collided with an opposing player 11 minutes into the game.
His return will cause yet another challenge for the Blue Devils as they try to collect their second win against a ranked opponent this season. Bouldin leads the Bulldogs with 16.8 points per game, and he also averages 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals.
