Collins takes assistant job at Seton Hall

Former Duke star Chris Collins was named assistant men's basketball coach at Seton Hall Wednesday. Collins, 24, replaces Kerry Keating, who took a job at Appalachian State.

He will join head coach Tommy Amaker, also a former Duke player.

"We're excited to have Chris here at Seton Hall," Amaker said. "The enthusiasm, knowledge and experience that he will bring to our program will be an invaluable asset to us."

With the Blue Devils from 1992-96, Collins scored 1,091 points during his collegiate career and played on the 1994 Duke team that reached the national championship game.
