Junior Savannah Goodman passed away Monday morning following complications from a bone marrow transplant, according to the Student Affairs website.

She suffered from an immune deficiency disorder—which she was diagnosed with at age 6—and was treated at Duke Hospital. At Duke, she was pre-med and wanted to become a pediatric immunologist.

Goodman was active in Jewish Life at Duke and the Duke Student Wellness Center. She was also a tour guide and loved Duke basketball.

In November, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Brownstone, Mirecourt and Pi Kappa Alpaha hosted a concert on Clocktower Quad to raise money for a bone marrow transplant for Goodman. A GoFundMe page to support her treatment raised more than $19,000.

A memorial service for her will be held in her hometown of St. Augustine, Florida.
