The robbery occurred in the parking lot of 1911 Yearby Street around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.

UPDATE Dec. 8: The University announced Thursday that Fuquan James Wall, a Durham resident, has been arrested in connection with this robbery. He was arrested Nov. 19 on arrest warrants from the Duke University Police Department for robbery as well as on warrants issued by the Durham Police Department. He is currently being held at the Durham County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

A DukeAlert Wednesday evening reported a robbery on 1911 Yearby Street on Central Campus at about 10:15 p.m.

According to the DukeAlert, the suspect—who had a knife—likely called in a food delivery order and robbed the individual making the delivery. The DukeAlert reported that the suspect was a “dark complexion male” about 18 years old, wearing blue jeans and a grey or brown shirt.

The suspect was last seen running towards Anderson Street, according to the DukeAlert.

Wednesday night's robbery comes after a January incident in which a student was robbed by suspects with handguns near the intersection of Wannamaker Dr. and Chapel Dr., and after several other armed robberies occurred on Central Campus in 2015. The Duke University Police Department doubled the number of police officers and security guards patrolling Central Campus in Sept. 2015.
