Former Blue Devil relishes role as Durham Bull

Ryan Jackson strolled to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday evening with runners on first and third, no men out and his team trailing by one run. It was the type of situation that, had he still been playing in the big leagues, would surely have thrust the former Blue Devil star onto television screens nationwide. Instead, it was in front of 9,531 anxious fans that the 31-year-old Jackson was trying to push his Triple-A Durham Bulls into the playoffs on the second-to-last day of the season.






Krzyzewski unhappy with Crazies' lack of passion

In many ways, it was a storybook ending to Duke's home season. It was senior night in Cameron Indoor Stadium, a night for adoration to pour down on Andre Buckner, Dahntay Jones, and Casey Sanders in their final game on Coach K Court. The Blue Devils jumped out to a 40-20 lead en route to an easy 72-56 victory, avenging an earlier loss to Florida State. To top it off, Andre Buckner scooped in a shot with 16 seconds left to provide an ending to the evening worthy of a Hollywood script.



Duke dominates Georgia Tech

ATLANTA - Fifteen minutes into Wednesday's game, with Duke struggling to find the basket, Georgia Tech freshman Chris Bosh dunked to cut the Blue Devil lead to 23-19, bringing the Yellow Jacket home crowd to its feet. Two minutes and ten Duke points later - following two consecutive J.J. Redick three-pointers and a Dahntay Jones breakaway dunk - the Blue Devils were well on their way to a 77-58 victory, one of their most impressive and satisfying of the season.










Baseball drops third to Radford after taking first 2

The Duke baseball team entered Sunday's matchup against Radford looking to complete a three-game weekend sweep and push its winning streak to five games. Instead, the Blue Devils (7-4) walked off Jack Coombs Field frustrated and disappointed after a 4-2 loss, having wasted numerous opportunities to take control of a very winnable ballgame.
