This fall Trinity freshman Logan Smith worked with the Durham City Democrats on Clinton's campaign. On election day as he was going door-to-door, he found a woman who had registered but never voted before but wanted to. His group drove the woman to a local polling station where she voted.
Michael Gross, a Trinity freshman, heard a University Food Services employee's concern that the proposed plan to privatize the Boyd-Pishko would hurt her union. The result, Gross said, would be more part-time jobs and less benefits for University employees.
On her first day working at the Upper East Side, Kali Billingslea wore just a t-shirt and shorts. The Trinity sophomore described student reaction to her as "very friendly." The second night Billingslea adorned the University Food Services uniform. "People changed like night to day," she said.
