They say in every young man's life comes a moment in time that forever changes him. For me, that moment came in the second semester of my freshman year, when I first laid eyes on Charlene. Charlene was well crafted, and I scored on her all the time. You see, Charlene is the name I gave my dorm's foosball table. Once I foosed for the first time, I couldn't stop. I was hooked. I spent so much time playing foos, my relationship with Charlene blossomed into something beautiful. (Note to current residents of G-A: Be kind to Charlene. She needs to be cared for properly, and for God's sake, DON'T SPIN THE RODS-that haphazard play is a mockery to the skilled art of foos and damages the table.)

Through three quarters, Senior Day at Wallace Wade Stadium appeared to be another disastrous day for the football team. The Blue Devils played sloppy and uninspired football. They gave up big plays, missed tackles, threw critical interceptions, and fell behind 38-11 to a Georgia Tech team whose defense is ranked lastt in the conference.

The football team blew a great opportunity Saturday night. Believe it or not, Duke, who annually loses to Florida State by an average of 37 points, had a legitimate chance of beating the third-ranked Seminoles. Instead, Florida State did what it does every year-roll over the overmatched Blue Devils, this time by the score of 51-27.
