The bell of the Blue Zone stock exchange has rung again, meaning it's time to take a look at who is rising and falling with their performances for Blue Devil sports teams. Each week, the Blue Zone will look at whose stock is on the rise and whose stock has taken a hit from the week in the world of Duke athletics.
The Blue Devils have stumbled to their worst start in five years, and their schedule is only getting tougher. Duke travels to South Bend, Ind., to play at Notre Dame Saturday at 3:30, in need of a major upset to improve to 2-2. Every week throughout the football season, we’ll break down a player on each team who could be the difference-maker in the upcoming contest.

Northwestern picked up its first win of the season by beating Duke 24-13, as the Blue Devils dropped to their worst start in years. The Wildcats just out-gained Duke by 10 total yards, but costly turnovers doomed the Blue Devils down the stretch. Northwestern opened the game with a 75-yard drive for a touchdown, putting Duke in trouble right from the beginning.
For the third straight week, the Blue Devils will face a top-15 team on a Friday.
