It may have been a wet, dreary day but the Blue Devils’ field hockey team wasn’t going to let that depress its spirits on Senior Day.

After placing fifth and ninth, respectively, at the ACC indoor championships, Duke's women’s and men’s teams looked to improve these marks at the ACC outdoor championships after a strong outdoor season that included a sweep of rival North Carolina at the annual Battle of the Blues.
While the weekend didn’t have a Cinderella ending for Duke, the Blue Devils finally got their signature win.
