AI: I’m responsible for the long-term economic development planning of the country, but currently we are facing some pressing economic challenges—first and foremost of which is the energy crisis. So while we are working on developing Pakistan Vision of 2025—which is a long term plan—we are also working on short term efforts to overcome energy crisis, which is impeding Pakistan’s overall economy by 2 or 3 percent. My one job is to look after future economic transformation development plan and second is to also fix some of the short term problems through investment and development projects. So we are making major investments in the energy sector.

Students coordinating the event worked to reunite bands from the Triangle area that have frequented the airwaves over WXDU's lifetime. The concert aims to reflect the station’s combined community and student presence.

Duke campus culture is characterized by its enthusiasm for celebration and joining together in festivities. This past weekend marked one of the biggest party weekends for college students nationwide—Halloween. Many students made the trek to University of North Carolina Chapel Hill's famous Franklin Street while others made a much shorter trek to Perkins Library. Jeffrey Zients, Trinity '88, was recently chosen to oversee the repairs of Healthcare.gov, the website through which health insurance exchanges are set up under the Affordable Care Act. Upon its advent the website experienced multiple crashes and technological issues that the administration is now working to fix. Zients, who is the former director of the Office of Management and Budget and will become the director of the National Economic Council in January, will serve as the manager of the repair project within the Department of Health and Human Services. Zients sat down with The Chronicle's Elizabeth Djinis and Georgia Parke to discuss his work and the path that brought him into the public sector today.
