Duke men's tennis emerges as undefeated champion in ITA Kickoff Weekend

Duke continued its impressive start to the new season with back-to-back 4-0 wins against No. 23 N.C. State and Middle Tennessee during the ITA Kickoff Weekend. With these dominant victories, the Blue Devils moved on to the National Team Indoor Champions in New York for the first time since 2018. 


Duke swimming and diving falls to North Carolina, shatters records against Texas

A rival one day and Olympians the next, Blue Devil swimmers and divers had their hands full this weekend as they hosted back-to-back home meets in Taishoff Aquatics Center. Duke battled closely with North Carolina and Texas, trading tight finishes with the Tar Heels and Longhorns before ultimately losing to both by slim margins.

The conclusion of the 2024 BU Terrier Classic at Boston University Saturday brought forth a series of record-setting performances and five top-30 showings, as both male and female distance runners for Duke displayed their abilities ahead of the outdoor season. 







No. 15 Duke women’s tennis fights through loss against Auburn in championship match of ITA Kickoff Weekend

All those inside Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center held their breath as junior Ellie Coleman battled back from 5-0 down in her second set against No. 14 Auburn’s DJ Bennett to give the Blue Devils a chance to advance to the National Team Indoors. The rest of the players from both teams anxiously looked on from the sidelines as Bennett took the 11th game of the set to gain a 6-5 lead on Coleman. In the deciding game, Coleman was unable to pull off an upset, but displayed incredible tenacity over the course of the match. The Michigan native was not the only player on the team this weekend to put up a fight against a talented Tiger.
