In early January, Duke sophomore guard Lee Volker was removed from the team’s active roster, following her “taking time away from the team for personal reasons,” as head coach Kara Lawson explained at the time. It now appears that Volker will not be rejoining that roster.

Per a report from The Next’s Mitchell Northam, Volker has entered the transfer portal, the sophomore’s entrance coming on the first day the portal opened to basketball players. She was still an active student in the University's internal directory when she stepped away from the program back in January but is no longer listed in that directory.

Volker was fourth among Blue Devils in games started, eighth in minutes, seventh in scoring and second in field goal percentage when her minutes began precipitously dropping in early December.

A team spokesperson did not immediately return a request for comment.
