This is SportsCenter: Krzyzewski rejects Metallica

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is synonymous with many things. Heavy metal is not one of them.

But that didn't stop ESPN from having some fun with rock band Metallica in its newest "This is SportsCenter" commercial.

The video, which you can see below, details Metallica's struggles to find work following the retirement of New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera. Baseball's all-time saves leader used the group's "Enter Sandman" as his warm-up music for years. Drummer Lars Ulrich hangs up the phone and reports to singer James Hetfield that Krzyzewski is not interested in an entrance song. The group then pursues other efforts to remain relevant.

For now, it seems Cascada's "Everytime We Touch"—the Cameron Crazie favorite that usually blasts from the Cameron Indoor Stadium speakers at the time Krzyzewski emerges from the Duke locker room—will have to suffice.
