Abby Johnston wins silver in London

The Blue Devils have their first medal of the 2012 London Olympics.

The American pair of 22-year-old Abby Johnston and 23-year-old Kelci Bryant registered 321.90 points to take home the silver medal in the three-meter synchronized dive. The Americans finished behind only the Chinese team, featuring He Zi and now three-time gold medal winner Wu Minxia. The bronze went to the Canadian duo of Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans.

This was Wu's first gold with He Zi as her partner. Kelci Bryant previously competed in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, but finished fourth, just behind the German team.
