Some people teach us by the way they live their lives. Others teach us by the way they die. Susan Tifft did the best of both. She never gave up, never lost her goodwill or her humor and she was a faithful friend, colleague and mentor even in her final hours. We who love all she embodied will miss her but are the better for having had her with us for awhile.
