After the No. 7 Blue Devils convincingly defeated then-No. 3 Ohio State Thursday and came back from 14 down to beat USC Sunday, Duke was rewarded with a clean sweep in ACC Player and Rookie of the Week voting.

Jasmine Thomas was the unanimous pick for Player of the Week. After recording the third triple-double in school history Nov. 27, Thomas followed that up with a possibly more impressive stretch. The junior scored a career-high 29 points against the Buckeyes and followed that up with an efficient 28 points on 20 shots against the Women of Troy. For the season, she is averaging 17.8 points and over five rebounds and assists per game.

Vernerey earned Rookie of the Week honors by being an integral part of Duke's victory over Ohio State, limiting preseason All-American Jantel Lavender on the defensive end and matching Lavender's output on offense. The freshman from France topped that with her first career double-double, 10 points and 12 rebounds, against Southern California.

This is the first time either player has received a weekly award this season.
