UNIVERSITY BRIEFS

The opening of a new Subway eatery in the West Union Building has been delayed for at least a week because an oven has not yet been delivered to the site.

The new eatery was originally supposed to open Tuesday. ARAMARK Corp., which runs some of the University's dining facilities, decided to bring in the national sandwich shop chain over the summer in response to student request.

Subway will move into the location formerly occupied by Breyer's Ice Cream, which the new eatery will still offer. ARAMARK eliminated its deli in the Great Hall in anticipation of the new Subway and added a cold wrap station.
