Awesome, baby!! Tourney-bound Dukies hope for that one shining moment**

You can take the Crazy out of Cameron, but you can't take the Cameron out of the Crazy.

By tomorrow night, an elite few of Duke's student population will have journeyed westward to Knoxville, Tennessee, to watch the men's basketball team fight for a spot in the Final Four. Yes, the gratuitous band members and cheerleaders will be present. But a handful of those students on hand will have had to actually pay their way there, from tickets to gas.

For many student ticket -holders, this weekend will mark their first time attending an NCAA tournament game. A number of factors influenced their decisions to enter the ticket lottery, run out of the Office of Student Development earlier this week.

"Knoxville's pretty close, and I'm from Milwaukee [where Duke's next opponent, Marquette, is from]," said Trinity junior John Davenport. "Also, who knows, maybe this will be the last time I can see a game like this. Hopefully not, but look what happened last year."

Apparently, students' love of basketball is so strong that a few hundred miles between here and Knoxville isn't enough to keep them from such an important weekend.

"Basketball was a pretty important reason why I came here in the first place," said Trinity sophomore Andrew DuBois. "I wanted to see the team play in a different environment."

Those going to the regional finals said they anticipate a much more sedated stadium environment than the one they know and love.

"It'll probably be somewhat of a disappointment," DuBois said. "But I think the students there will pump up the Cameron Crazy act just a little bit more than usual, to make up for all the lame-oh's in the crowd."
