Last Wednesday night, the basketball world learned of the passing of Anne Donovan, an Olympic and Hall of Fame coach for USA Basketball. Standing at 6-foot-8, the Old Dominion graduate greatly impacted the women’s basketball community, including many former Blue Devils who have come to know Donovan over the years. She led the Connecticut Sun in her last head coaching stint in the WNBA.
