Duke field hockey bounces back against No. 15 Old Dominion

No. 7 Duke came from behind to defeat No. 15 Old Dominion 3-1 Sunday afternoon at Jack Katz Stadium. The Monarchs came out swinging, scoring the first goal of the game less than four minutes in. It was a familiar situation for the Blue Devils, but this time they scored three unanswered goals to pull off the win.

Junior Heather Morris posted a hat trick as the Blue Devils exploded for six goals Sunday against William & Mary in a bounce-back performance.

No. 4 Duke bounced back from Friday’s loss to the Demon Deacons with a 6-2 win against William & Mary at Jack Katz Stadium. Junior forward Heather Morris fueled the offense with a hat trick, including the key score in the first half to re-establish Duke’s lead soon after the Tribe evened the score.
