SLGs were told in August that they could not hold recruitment events this year, due to it being the last year they will have on-campus housing, a change brought on by QuadEx, Duke’s new living and learning initiative.
After a DukeAlert was sent to the Duke community Tuesday reporting an on-campus, strong-armed robbery of a graduate student, a second DukeAlert Tuesday afternoon wrote that Campus Police and Durham investigators found the report “unfounded.”
The incident occurred on Pettigrew Street near the Center for Documentary Studies, according to the alert. The suspect did not display a weapon and took the victim’s car.
