The final score suggests that Georgia Tech dominated Duke the whole game, and it did.
Back in July, when college football prognosticators came out with their preseason predictions, few saw Duke at 3-1 four games into the season. Even fewer also saw Georgia Tech with the same record.
After Duke's win over Virginia Saturday, a reporter told nose guard Clifford Respress that the Blue Devils' next opponent, Georgia Tech, was basically the Navy offense with ACC-caliber athletes.
Hidden in a corner of Joe Senser's, a Minnesota sports bar, Nick Stefanow watched Duke beat Virginia Saturday on a television decidedly smaller than the 20 big-screens dotting the tavern.
