In sports, revenge is always sweet. But it's even sweeter when the winner moves on and the loser goes home. Today, Duke's women's lacrosse team will have its chance at payback when it hosts Georgetown in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament with the hopes of avenging a 9-8 loss earlier this season.

On March 13, Katie Chrest's shot slid past North Carolina's goalie Kristen Hordy in the bottom left corner of the net to give the Blue Devils a thrilling 7-6 double-overtime victory. Now more than a month later, as regular season champions, Duke's women's lacrosse team will face the Tar Heels again, but this time in the ACC tournament.

Returning from a stress fracture in his back to compete in his first tournament of the spring, Ryan Blaum helped lead the Blue Devils to their first victory this season. The men's golf team captured the Courtyard by Marriot Intercollegiate by 15 strokes over Kansas at the MacGregor Down Country Club in Cary, N.C.

For Duke and All-American Amanda Johnson, Senior Day was not supposed to happen this way. With a 35-match ACC regular season winning streak and the chance to clinch their 16th ACC regular season championship on the line, the fourth-ranked Blue Devils were stunned by No. 16 Clemson Sunday.

In the final home contest of the season and of All-American Phillip King's career, the men's tennis team emerged victorious against its rival North Carolina. Coming from behind after losing the team doubles point, the fifth-ranked Blue Devils (17-5, 5-1 in the ACC) downed the No. 14 Tar Heels (20-3, 6-1) by a count of 5-2.

For the first time in program history, the Duke women's lacrosse team can celebrate an ACC regular season championship. The Blue Devils (7-3, 3-0 in the ACC) accomplished their feat by knocking off fifth-ranked Virginia (9-3, 2-1) and held the nation's leading goal scorer, the Cavaliers' Amy Appelt, without a goal in the first half.

For the first time since the 2003-04 season began, the No. 1 women's golf team failed to finish in first place at a tournament, coming in third at the Liz Murphy Collegiate. However, the Blue Devils had only four players competing, as the team was without senior Virada Nirapathpongporn and sophomore Liz Janangelo, who spent the weekend competing in the LPGA's Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first of the four major championships on the tour.
