A student reported that around 3:30 a.m. Sept. 15, he was assaulted at Rick's Diner. He reported that another student struck him in his chest with his right hand, causing a bruise on his chest that was found when he was transported to the emergency room. A warrant was obtained for sophomore Adam Hill, charging him with simple assault.
A Duke student was reportedly raped early Thursday at her residence on Wilkerson Avenue after a man armed with a gun broke into her home around 6:30 a.m.
An 18-year-old female visitor reported that, between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, while much of the campus was celebrating the football win, she was raped by a 21-year-old male Duke student in his West Campus dorm room.
