In light of the coronavirus pandemic spreading across the United States and the world, Duke decided March 10 to suspend in-person classes and extend undergraduate Spring Break for a week. Since then, there has been a cascade of cancellations, information, policies, policy changes and reactions. Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is at the pinnacle of his profession. The winningest Division I men's basketball coach of all time arrived at Duke in 1980, beginning the Blue Devils' transformation from a lackluster program into a perennial title contender. During that period, Coach K managed to nab three Naismith Coach of the Year Awards, five national championships and 15 ACC tournament championships.
