On Tuesday, August 24th Duke University's class of 2014 moved onto campus to start their first year as Duke students. The following days of the week, the new students engaged in orientation events ranging from a picnic on the quad to enjoying at night in downtown Durham. Here's a photo slideshow of some of the events from Chronicle photographer Courtney Douglas.
On Wednesday, April 28th, Duke students celebrated their last day of classes out on the main quad. The celebration included a concert with performances from Big D and the Kids Table, Rooney, Jay Sean, and Flogging Molly.
