Wednesday afternoon the official Twitter account for Duke men's basketball tweeted a link to the official 2013-14 men's basketball roster. In addition to confirming that Jabari Parker will be the first No. 1 since Kyrie Irving in 2011, the roster includes a 6-foot-3 guard from the Milton Academy in Weston, Mass.

We're just one week away from NBA commissioner David Stern ambling onto the stage at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. to a chorus of boos for the final time. When the NBA Draft gets underway at 7 pm on June 27, a number of the ACC's top players—Duke's Mason Plumlee, Maryland's Alex Len, Miami's Shane Larkin and North Carolina's Reggie Bullock—will anxiously be waiting for their name to be called.

Major League Baseball's First-Year Player Draft came and went last week without a single Duke player being selected. Though there are no new Blue Devils joining teams, a former Duke star who was selected in the 2012 draft is just getting back into game action.

Shane Battier and the Miami Heat have reached the NBA Finals again and will start their title defense Thursday night against the San Antonio Spurs. If the Heat go on to win the Larry O'Brien trophy, Battier will be the first Blue Devil in the Mike Krzyzewski era to win two NBA titles as a player. Danny Ferry also has two NBA rings—both with these Spurs—though the second of the two came as an executive.
