The Blue Devils stay perfect this season, defeating Elon 76-54 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The victory is Duke's 100th consecutive non-conference victory at home. After another slow start, Duke pulled away in the second half on the strength of Mason Plumlee's 21 points and 16 rebounds.

As expected, VCU didn't let Duke have an easy time trying to get to the finals for the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Blue Devils needed a big shot from Quinn Cook to put them ahead at halftime before giving themselves a little bit of breathing room in the second half. VCU kept the game close the entire way, but Duke didn't let down and hung on to win 67-58.

The days of Maryland/Duke basketball as we know it are over. The Terrapins are scheduled to announce this afternoon that they have accepted an invitation to join the Big Ten Conference for the 2014-15 academic year. In addition to Maryland, the Big Ten will also add Rutgers, bringing the conference total to 14.

Fourth Quarter (Duke 24, Georgia Tech 42): Georgia Tech’s deliberate offensive attack continued to wear down the Duke defense, capping off an 18-play, 8:31 long drive with an 8-yard Washington touchdown pass to Robert Godhigh. The scoring drive re-broke the record set for most plays in a scoring drive this season, previously broken in the second quarter, and was also the longest scoring drive in terms of time off the game clock this season.
