I first had the idea for this column immediately after Countdown to Craziness way back in October. I again felt an urge to write it after he scored 18 points in 18 minutes against Presbyterian. His 27-point outing against Wake Forest was nearly the impetus I needed to finally put pen to paper.
HOUSTON—If you blinked, you may have missed when Quinn Cook became one of Duke's best defenders.
HOUSTON—"It's like a sigh of relief to be able to feel good about yourself on the offensive end and not be that liability anymore."

HOUSTON— Friday night was the Justise Winslow show at NRG Stadium as the freshman phenom led all players with 21 points and 10 rebounds in his hometown as the No. 1 seed Blue Devils topped No. 5 seed Utah 63-57.
HOUSTON— After getting off to a slow start from the field thanks in part to the quirky black curtain behind the basket, the top-seeded Blue Devils rattled off a 8-0 run late in the half to build up a 27-22 lead against fifth-seeded Utah going into the half.

CHAPEL HILL — An 0-for-12 stretch and a 6:57 scoring drought would have been enough to sink even the most talented of Duke teams on the road at the Dean E. Smith Center, but at the end of the day it was the Blue Devils' two point guards who were walking arm-in-arm with smiles stretching from ear to ear after the final buzzer sounded.
CHAPEL HILL—After getting off to a roaring 14-6 start, Duke's offense sputtered and the Tar Heels settled down and made sure this contest didn't go the way of the way of the Wake Forest game earlier this week, taking a 33-31 lead into the locker room at the Dean E. Smith Center.
