ACC Gets Another Big Win Against the SEC
Duke returns nine of its 10 players from last season, but when the Blue Devils take the court this weekend to open their season, the post-Henrique Cunha era will officially begin.
Following a disappointing 2-10 season, their first 10-loss season since 1978, the Eagles hope to show signs of improvement under new coach Steve Addazio. Addazio, formerly the head coach of Temple, should bring new optimism to a program that has not made a bowl game in two consecutive seasons.
Coming off their first winning season since 2007, the Eagles will be led by Dwayne Foster following the firing of head coach Henry Frazier just a week before the start of the season. Foster, who joined Frazier’s staff in 2011, hopes to help the Eagles improve on their 6-5 record from last season.
