Is Greek life at Duke as homogeneous as you think?

It focuses just on organizations in the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Association. Upcoming articles will look at the topic from the perspective of Multicultural Greek Council organizations, National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations and selective living groups. The Duke community suffered a tragic loss when Alex McIlvaine's death was announced Wednesday afternoon. We are still learning details of his passing and will try to relay those details to you in a timely fashion. The Chronicle will also be accepting letters to the editor remembering Alex. Please submit letters to chronicleletters@duke.edu and include your name and affiliation with Duke. All selected letters will appear on The Chronicle's website within 24 hours of submission. The Chronicle will also publish an obituary honoring Alex's memory within a week. Early Decision roundup: Duke sees high increase in early decision apps compared to peers

In December, Duke announced that it accepted 875 high school seniors into the Class of 2022 after receiving a record number of 4,090 Early Decision students. Last year, there were a total of 3,516 Early Decision applicants, indicating a 16.3 percent increase in applications from 2016 to this year.

The Chronicle sat down with Schiff to talk about the latest developments of the Russia investigation and how foreign actors can take advantage of research at American universities. Chronicle to release data on backgrounds and beliefs of first-years next week

This past summer, The Chronicle solicited responses to a survey for members of the Class of 2021. Gautam Hathi, Trinity ‘17 and former digital content editor, and seniors Blake Kaplan and Zach Marion, directors of online operations, created the survey to include questions about the class’s demographics, beliefs, lifestyles and plans for their time at Duke.
