Editor’s note: As advice for the Class of 2022 has piled up in recent weeks, The Chronicle staff took it upon ourselves to answer all the most important questions first-years could have. Vandalism reported in Duke Gardens

Duke Police reported several acts of vandalism in the Sarah P. Duke Gardens Saturday morning. At some time between Friday night and early Saturday morning, vandals damaged property in the lower terrace and rose garden of the gardens, according to a news release Saturday. More than 40 terra cotta flower pots were destroyed, and a piece of sculpture on a fountain was damaged. A sign for the Asiantic Arboretum was also damaged. A jogger reported the damage to the Duke University Police Department Saturday morning. The damage has since been cleared. An official damage estimate is not yet available, and University officials are still investigating the situation.
