Duke 87-70, END OF GAME: Not the way you like to see a game end as Alex Deluzio hit the ground hard on Florida State's final possession. Hopefully, she's all right after heading to the bench. 1. The Mountain West's claim for an automatic BCS-bowl berth seems more and more worthy each passing week. The MWC currently has three ranked teams, including two in the top 10 (Texas Christian and Utah). That's more ranked teams than the Big East or ACC and more top-10 teams than either of those two conferences and the Big 10. The Big East was shut out of the rankings for the second consecutive week, and Mountain West fans can't be happy that a potentially unranked Big East champion still has an automatic BCS bid.

1. The ACC didn't do itself any favors in primetime. The depleted Tar Heels fell out of the polls after entering Saturday's Chick-Fil-A kickoff as the No. 18 team in the country, and a last-ditch comeback didn't seem to ease voters' concerns about the ongoing investigation surrounding North Carolina's program. No. 13 Virginia Tech also dropped out of the top 10 after giving up a game-winning touchdown drive in the final two minutes to No. 3 Boise State, even if Duke head coach David Cutcliffe wasn't too impressed with the Broncos. By losing its two high-profile matchups, the ACC finds itself--along with the Big East--outside of the top 10 at the start of the season.
