KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Blue Devils practiced for the final time in 2011 this afternoon in preparation for their 1 p.m. national championship contest against undefeated Stanford tomorrow. Before Duke took to the expertly manicured practice field at KSU Soccer Stadium, home of the WPS's Atlanta Beat, a few members of the team participated in a press conference for the media. Freshman Laetitia Beck posted a career-best 66 in the first round Sunday of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship, held at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans, La. The round put her in first place at the end of the day at six-under.

Duke 82, Butler 70- FINAL: No need for final second drama here, the Blue Devils decisive 12-0 run in the second half was enough to bury Butler for the second time in 2010. Kyrie Irving will likely get the headlines, but Andre Dawkins put in what may have been his best performance in a Blue Devil uniform. His ten points and nine rebounds, not to mention his suffocating defense, helped Duke break away from a spirited Bulldog team, and helped preserve Duke's undefeated record.
