In a game that could push Duke into NCAA tournament standing, the Blue Devils have quickly ceded the lead to Louisville. Although Matthew Hurt has starred thus far, Duke has not been able to stop the Cardinals’ offense, with Louisville taking a 36-26 advantage into the break. Here are five observations from the game’s first 20 minutes:

There’s a lot for the Duke women’s golf team to be concerned about. While the Blue Devils technically enter this season as reigning national champions, much of their title-winning squad from 2019 is gone. Duke did not play at all during the fall due to COVID-19 concerns. The team’s lone senior, Jaravee Boonchant, stayed in her native Thailand during the entire fall semester.

Duke is trying to stave off its first four-game losing streak since 2007, and will have to beat a surprisingly good Georgia Tech squad to do so. ‘I may not sleep tonight’: Duke men's basketball's Jon Scheyer earns first career win as head coach, barely

On Monday, Mike Krzyzewski confirmed that Jon Scheyer would be serving as head coach for Duke against Boston College while Krzyzewski quarantined at home due to a potential COVID-19 exposure. Fortunately for Scheyer, the Blue Devils beat the Eagles in Cameron Indoor Stadium Wednesday night.
