Rebounding from a tough 32-9 loss at home last Tuesday at the hands of Virginia Military Institute, the wrestling team turned in arguably its strongest performance of the season, manhandling The Citadel 41-6 in South Carolina. The Duke win improves the team's record to 3-4, 0-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

It only seems right that in a tournament held at Godwin Hall, that a wrestler named Godwin wins. This was the case Sunday when junior Jeremy Godwin of the wrestling team captured the heavyweight class championship at the James Madison University Wrestling Invitational in Harrisonburg, Va.
With two wins this weekend, the volleyball team captured its third straight Atlantic Coast Conference regular season crown and increased its winning streak to 20 consecutive games. The Blue Devils knocked off Florida State and N.C. State in Cameron Indoor Stadium to complete an undefeated ACC season and tally a 25-2 record (14-0 in the ACC).

The men's track team finished its Atlantic Coast Conference season on an up-note at the ACC Track and Field Championships, held this weekend in Chapel Hill. Although placing last in team points in the conference, the Blue Devils posted some impressive personal efforts, enough to amass five team points.
Continuing to steamroll over its opponents, the men's tennis team dismantled the South Carolina Gamecocks 7-0 . After sweeping N.C. State on Tuesday, the Blue Devils visited the Sam Daniel Tennis Stadium in Columbia, S.C., looking to gain the team's 18th win of the season, and second consecutive 7-0 victory.
Michigan's Chris Webber had an unpleasant experience with time (outs) in Monday night's NCAA championship game. But this weekend at the Duke Invitational Track Meet at Wallace Wade Stadium, the 1000-plus competing athletes will hopefully have a much more pleasant encounter with time. Their times, that is.
Competing in the Lynchburg Track Classic at Lynchburg College in Virginia this weekend, the men's track team posted an impressive effort, setting a series of season and personal bests.
Sending a limited squad of four athletes to North Carolina's Blue Heaven Invitational, the women's track team ended its winter season setting two personal bests.
