No. 3 Duke softball splits opening 2 games of Louisville series, wins third behind Vega's milestone day at the plate

Duke traveled down to Louisville, Ky., Friday for a three-game ACC series against the Cardinals. It entered the weekend confident, only a week after ending its 21-game winning streak. But after a tough one-run performance Saturday, the third-ranked Blue Devils reignited offensively for a 5-3 win against the Cardinals Sunday afternoon, winning the series. 



Duke fencing closes season 10th at NCAA Championships as Marakov takes home bronze

It’s the semifinals of men’s epee, played on a single strip in the center of French Field House — figuratively and literally the biggest stage in collegiate fencing. Junior Allen Marakov launches an inspired comeback mid-bout to score three points in a row against Notre Dame’s Jonathan Hamilton-Meikle. Between each point, Marakov’s teammates yell “come on Allen!” from the stands. 


No. 23 Duke women's tennis earns 2 hard-fought wins on the weekend against Wake Forest and No. 14 NC State

The 23rd-ranked Blue Devils collected two momentum-building wins this weekend as they defeated No. 31 Wake Forest and No. 14 N.C. State. Despite dropping the doubles point in both matches, Duke rallied to defeat the Demon Deacons 4-1 and the Wolfpack 4-3. Sophomore Katie Codd broke the 3-3 tie to clinch the victory in the latter match, winning in a 7-6, 7-5 nail-biter.

The Duke Asian Students Association is excited to see three accomplished candidates who contribute unique strengths for the DSG Presidency this year. After reviewing each candidate’s platforms, watching the Presidential Debate, and meeting all candidates who reached out to ASA, we have chosen to endorse Heather Raslan for DSG President. This decision comes after careful deliberation — while all candidates have shown clear passion for how they can best serve the undergraduate student body, ASA believes that Heather has the most promising and thoughtful platform for the next academic year.
