Duke has added a big from the transfer portal.

Neal Begovich, a 6-foot-9 forward from Stanford, announced his commitment to the Blue Devils via Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Begovich played four years for the Cardinal, averaging 0.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in limited minutes a season ago. The San Francisco native has only appeared in 18 collegiate games in his career, with two starts last season.

He is the first player to join Duke via the transfer portal this offseason, and there have been no transfers outside the team yet.

Begovich will have two years of eligibility left after redshirting his first year by only appearing in three games.
