A car hit a C1 bus from the side at the intersection of Anderson St. and Campus Dr. Wednesday evening. No passengers nor the driver were injured.

According to an image posted of the incident in the Class of 2025 GroupMe chat, an old green Toyota Camry hit the bus at 5:16 p.m. after running a red light.

“I [got] on the bus, and I was just on my phone listening to music [when] everyone flies to the side,” first year Perrin Myerson said of the situation. “Not like a crazy amount—no one [was hurt] … Everyone got up and went to the window, and this car had just slammed into the side of [the bus].”

Other students also felt strange about the situation, though they cited that ultimately the situation wasn’t one to be too worried about.

“I was kind of confused, I was glad nobody got hurt,” Sid Ravi wrote in a message to The Chronicle. “Really, it was only a minor situation and I just waited at the stop for the next bus to come get us.”
