For the 2021-22 athletics season, the fans will be back.

Duke athletics announced Tuesday morning via Twitter that athletics venues will be at full capacity for the upcoming year. The move signals an end to over year-long COVID-19 safety protocols that left Duke’s athletic programs competing without a home crowd and notably the men’s basketball team playing without the Cameron Crazies.

Duke football has its first home game September 10 against North Carolina A&T. Other fall athletic schedules have yet to be released.
