Patrick was having a breakout 2020-21 campaign before the season was cut short.

A month and a half ago, it was reported that three Blue Devils were transferring out of Duke

Now, that number is up to five.

Jaida Patrick and Jada Claude will also be entering the transfer portal, according to a tweet from Bleacher Report's Ari Chambers Tuesday. Claude's transfer was first reported by her former AAU team Hoop Dreams Athletics Monday.

Patrick, an off-ball guard, came out of West Haverstraw, N.Y., a four-star recruit ranked an average of No. 58 in the Class of 2019. Despite almost exclusively playing garbage time her freshman year, she started every game in the 2020-21 Blue Devils' abbreviated season, and excelled. The sophomore averaged 11.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists on a 50% eFG with stout perimeter defense.

Claude, a forward, came into Duke as a three-star prospect out of Fayetteville, Ga. A very good rebounder and defender of undersized bigs in her limited role, Claude had seen the court for just 234 minutes in her two years, and will finish her time as a Blue Devil averaging 2.0 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game.

With four-star Azana Baines transferring last spring, Jennifer Ezeh, who has yet to take the court for Duke due to two torn ACLs, is now the sole remaining Blue Devil from their four-person 2019 recruiting class.
