Bridging the Gap Episode 1: Diversity, Discomfort and Discrimination (Part 1)

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Bridging the Gap, a collaboration between The Bridge and The Chronicle, two student publications at Duke.

Listen to Part 1 of our Diversity, Discomfort and Discrimination episode, a session on diversity and what diversity often means emotionally for those students on campus who have dealt with the sort of discrimination or marginalization we often like to think doesn’t happen at Duke. Today, we hear from students at different points in their Duke career as they dive into feelings of isolation set off by negative interracial interactions.

Check out some quotes from the episode or read a note from the series' host. There is also a transcript of the episode for those who need or prefer one.

Hosted and produced by Cameron Oglesby
